Legendary Pokémon in Generation 6

The Kalos region is defined by the powerful duo featured on the covers of Pokémon X and Pokémon Y: Xerneas and Yveltal. These two Pokémon represent a fundamental balance. Xerneas, the Life Pokémon, is a pure Fairy-type with the ability to grant eternal life. Its signature move, Geomancy, drastically boosts its special stats, making it a formidable sweeper. Its Fairy Aura ability boosts the power of all Fairy-type moves on the battlefield.

In direct opposition stands Yveltal, the Destruction Pokémon. This Dark/Flying-type absorbs the life force of other living creatures. Its signature move, Oblivion Wing, deals damage while simultaneously restoring Yveltal's own HP, making it incredibly resilient. While players initially encountered Zygarde in its 50% Forme in Pokémon X and Y, its full potential was revealed later. By collecting Zygarde Cells and Cores, it can shift between its canine-like 10% Forme, its serpentine 50% Forme, and its colossal, overwhelmingly powerful Complete Forme. This unique mechanic makes Zygarde one of the most dynamic Legendary Pokémon in the series.
