How to Evolve Bisharp

To evolve Bisharp into Kingambit in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, your Bisharp must defeat three wild Bisharp that are leading a pack of Pawniard. These specific wild Bisharp hold a Leader's Crest. After defeating the third pack leader, level up your Bisharp once to trigger the evolution.

Before evolving Bisharp, consider its standalone value. In the RU tier, Bisharp holds a solid position relying on an eviolite to drastically boost its bulk.

With the defiant ability, it punishes opponent stat drops. Combining swordsdance and suckerpunch creates a lethal sweeping setup that catches many opponents off guard. You also have access to utility moves like stealthrock and taunt to disrupt defensive setups.

Evolving removes the Eviolite option but massively upgrades base stats. Keep Bisharp if you need a faster pivot alongside Mimikyu or Kleavor. Evolve it if you struggle against bulky walls. Note that both forms remain highly vulnerable to Fighting-type attackers like Chesnaught and Breloom, as well as Ground-types like Quagsire.

Pokémon Legends: Z-A streamlines complex evolution mechanics. The tedious pack-hunting requirement from Paldea is replaced by direct item application, aligning with the standard Legends formula.

1. Obtain a Leader's Crest from in-game vendors or space-time distortions.
2. Open your satchel and select the Leader's Crest.
3. Apply the item directly to your Bisharp to trigger the evolution immediately.

This method bypasses the need for leveling up or engaging in specific battles. You do not need to hunt for specific wild spawns to complete the process.

In Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, the evolution requires a highly specific hunting sequence. You must travel to the North Province (Area Two) bamboo thickets where these Pokémon spawn.

1. Locate a wild Bisharp that is actively surrounded by a group of Pawniard.
2. Initiate a manual battle and defeat this pack leader using your own Bisharp.
3. Repeat this process to defeat exactly three pack-leading Bisharp.
4. Level up your Bisharp once through battle or by using a Rare Candy.

Wild Bisharp wandering alone do not carry the required Leader's Crest. Defeating solo spawns will not count toward your total of three.

Players frequently encounter roadblocks when attempting this evolution in Scarlet and Violet. Here is how to fix the most common progression blockers.

• Using Auto-Battle: Defeating pack leaders using the "Let's Go" auto-battle feature does not track. You must initiate standard, turn-based battles.
