Legendary Pokémon in Generation 7

The heart of Alola's mythology beats with the rhythm of the sun and moon, embodied by the Legendary Pokémon Solgaleo and Lunala. As the 'beast that devours the sun' and the 'beast that calls the moon,' they are emissaries from another dimension, deeply connected to the evolution of Cosmog. Their story takes a dark turn with the arrival of Necrozma, the Prism Pokémon. This mysterious being seeks to steal all light, leading to its powerful fused forms, Dusk Mane Necrozma and Dawn Wings Necrozma, and ultimately the blindingly powerful Ultra Necrozma. Their intertwined narrative forms the core of the Pokémon Sun & Moon and Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon games.

Beyond the cosmic conflict, Alola is protected by four powerful Guardian Deities. Each Tapu watches over one of the main islands, sharing the unique ability to summon a battlefield Terrain upon entry. Tapu Koko, the guardian of Melemele Island, is a prime example with its Electric Surge ability, showcasing their immediate impact on strategy. Standing apart from these ancient guardians is Silvally, a synthetic Pokémon created by the Aether Foundation to combat Ultra Beasts. Initially known as Type: Null, it evolves through trust and can change its type at will using its RKS System ability, making it a uniquely versatile and unpredictable Legendary Pokémon.
