Its dominance stems directly from its signature ability, Orichalcum Pulse. This ability automatically summons harsh sunlight upon entering the field and boosts Koraidon's Attack stat by 33% simultaneously. This dual-benefit makes it an immediate, high-pressure threat the moment it hits the field.

Opponents are forced to respect its raw damage output from turn one. This immense pressure allows Koraidon to force switches easily. Savvy players can exploit these forced switches by clicking U-turn, gaining crucial momentum and bringing in favorable matchups safely.

The most prominent and dangerous set for Koraidon utilizes Swords Dance combined with Scale Shot. This combination allows it to boost both its Attack and Speed stats in a single turn cycle, turning it into an unstoppable late-game sweeper once its checks are removed.
