How to Evolve Scatterbug

Scatterbug evolves into Spewpa simply by reaching Level 9 through battle experience or Rare Candies. Spewpa then evolves into Vivillon at Level 12. No evolutionary stones or trading are required. To control Vivillon's wing pattern in modern games, you must pin specific Pokémon GO postcards before evolving.

To encounter Scatterbug in GO, you must pin Postcards received from friends in different real-world regions. The region of the pinned Postcards dictates which pattern of Scatterbug will spawn on your map.
