How to Evolve Shellder

To evolve Shellder into Cloyster, you must use a Water Stone on it directly from your bag. This evolution method carries no level requirement and has remained exactly the same since Generation 1.

Using the Water Stone consumes the item permanently. The evolution triggers instantly, replacing Shellder's base stats with Cloyster's massive physical defense profile.
