The Evolution Method: Trading with a Sachet
Spritzee has a special evolution method that dates back to its introduction in Generation VI. Unlike Pokémon that evolve through leveling up or using an evolution stone, Spritzee requires a trade with a specific held item to reach its final form, Aromatisse.
Here’s the simple process:
- Obtain a Sachet: First, you need to get the essential held item, the Sachet.
- Give the Sachet to Spritzee: Make your Spritzee hold the Sachet. You can do this from your Bag menu.
- Trade Spritzee: Find a friend to trade with. When you trade your Spritzee, it will evolve into Aromatisse on your friend's game immediately after the trade is completed. You will then need to trade back to get your new Aromatisse.

Where to Find Spritzee and the Sachet
Before you can evolve it, you need to catch a Spritzee and find a Sachet. Their locations vary depending on the game you are playing.
Spritzee Locations:
- In Pokémon X & Y, Spritzee can be found on Route 7 and in Friend Safaris (Fairy type). Note that it is exclusive to Pokémon Y.
