How to Evolve Weepinbell

To evolve Weepinbell into Victreebel, you must use a Leaf Stone on it from your bag. There is no level requirement, meaning you can trigger the evolution at any time. Simply select the Leaf Stone, choose Weepinbell, and the evolution animation will begin immediately.

Evolving Weepinbell requires a single item and zero leveling. You bypass the traditional experience grind entirely.

1. Open your map and locate the central trading post or specialized evolutionary item vendor in Lumiose City.
2. Purchase a Leaf Stone using Merit Points (MP) or Pokédollars.
3. Open your satchel, navigate to the items pocket, and select the Leaf Stone.
4. Apply it directly to Weepinbell in your party.

Evolve it early if you need immediate raw power. Move relearners in modern titles ensure you will not miss out on crucial moves like Leaf Storm.

The Bellsprout line returned in The Teal Mask DLC. Getting a Leaf Stone in the Paldea region is tied to your main progression.

1. Defeat at least three Gym Leaders to unlock evolution stones in shops.
2. Visit any Delibird Presents store in Mesagoza, Levincia, or Cascarrafa.
3. Buy a Leaf Stone for 3,000 Pokédollars.
4. Select the stone from your bag and use it on Weepinbell.

You can also find Leaf Stones scattered as sparkling drops in the Tagtree Thicket. If you are exploring Kitakami early, check the ground near grassy areas for random stone spawns.

The mobile game ditches the Leaf Stone entirely. You only need to manage your candy economy.

1. Catch Bellsprout or Weepinbell to accumulate candy.
2. Use Pinap Berries during encounters to double the candy yield.
3. Gather exactly 100 Bellsprout Candy.
4. Tap your target Pokémon and press the Evolve button.

Shadow Weepinbell requires the same amount of candy. Purifying it first reduces the cost to 90 candy, but keeping the Shadow bonus is generally preferred for raid DPS.
