How to Evolve Nymble

To evolve Nymble, you simply need to raise it to level 24. There are no special items, friendship requirements, or time-of-day restrictions. Once it hits level 24 through standard battles, Rare Candies, or EXP Candies, the evolution sequence will trigger automatically in most mainline games.

Evolving Nymble requires reaching a fixed level threshold. Unlike complex trade or friendship evolutions, this process relies entirely on accumulated experience points.

Following the mechanics established in previous Legends titles, reaching level 24 does not automatically force the evolution screen. You retain full control over when the change happens.

1. Keep Nymble in your active party and participate in battles or captures to gain experience.
2. Once Nymble hits level 24, look for the glowing Poké Ball icon next to its name in your party menu.
3. Select the Pokémon and press the designated button to manually trigger the evolution.

This manual system prevents accidental evolutions while you are still gathering specific Pokédex research tasks for the base form.

In the Paldea region, the standard automatic evolution sequence returns. Hitting level 24 triggers the sequence immediately after the battle concludes.

1. Feed Nymble EXP Candies M or L for an instant level boost.
2. Alternatively, keep it in your party while battling high-level wild Pokémon in Area Zero for passive Exp. Share gains.
3. Allow the post-battle screen to finish, and the evolution animation will begin.

If you prefer to delay the process to learn moves like Sucker Punch or Agility earlier, press the B button during the animation to cancel it.

Reaching level 24 is straightforward, but specific mechanics can silently block the evolution trigger. Check these common culprits if your Pokémon remains in its base form.

• The Let's Go Mechanic: Pokémon do not evolve from experience gained via auto-battles. If Nymble hits level 24 while running around in Let's Go mode, it will not evolve. You must level it up once more in a standard turn-based battle or use a candy.
• Holding an Everstone: Check Nymble's held item summary. If it is holding an Everstone, the evolution sequence is entirely disabled. Remove the item and level it up again.
• Fainting Mid-Battle: If Nymble faints but the rest of your party wins the battle and pushes its experience past the level 24 threshold, the evolution will not trigger. Revive it and level it up again.

The mobile experience completely bypasses traditional leveling. Instead, you need to accumulate a specific resource.

1. Catch multiple Nymble to gather a total of 50 Nymble Candy.
2. Use Pinap Berries during every encounter to double your candy yield and speed up the process.
3. Open Nymble's summary screen and tap the Evolve button once the candy requirement is met.
